Warm Your Heart During Heart Month

By Dr. Richard E. Collins, The Cooking Cardiologist, Science Advisor, Wingman Smart Energy

This past month has been exceptionally cold across the country. Extreme cold temperatures not only take a toll on roads and where we live, but declining temperatures also take a toll on our bodies – forcing the arteries to constrict, which reduces blood flow. I love Wingman because its proprietary blend of amino acids helps the body expand arteries by releasing more nitric oxide, a molecular compound of nitrogen and oxygen made by the lining of the arteries.

I have created a simple way to warm up before your warm-up or before you head outside in the frigid weather.

Through its patented formula and blend of amino acids, Wingman releases more nitric oxide, which allows the body to perform better. The result is more blood flow and improved oxygen to tissues.

This heart month give your heart and arteries an extra kick. Enjoy this warm beverage with your favorite Wingman variety:

  • Pour a 12-ounce can of Wingman Smart Energy into a microwave-safe coffee or teacup. Any flavor will work, but Unicorn tastes best.
  • Heat on high for 2 minutes.
  • Slice a lemon and place it in the cup. Let it steep for a minute, then sit back and sip the warmth. Your heart will thank you.

Always consult your health care provider before supplementing any wellness product. It is not intended to diagnose or treat any underlying medical condition nor to treat hypothermia.
